Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys
My thoughts: This book brings awareness to a terrible atrocity that is almost never spoken of. Kudos to author Ruta Sepetys for a moving historical, fictional account of the brutalities endured by Lithuanians, Latvians, Estonians, and Finns in Siberian labor camps in the 1940s and 1950s.
