Charlie Miller is a woman with a dark secret. In an attempt to start her life over, Charlie moves to a small coastal village in Cornwall, where initially she manages to keep her distance from curious neighbors. But as Charlie is drawn into village life, she must learn to trust again, while protecting the secrets of her past--a past which is about to catch up with her.
As a storm lashes the remote village, Charlie finds herself in extreme danger--from both the forces of nature and a sinister foe from her past.
This page-turning story delivers suspenseful twists and turns aplenty, culminating in a stormy gothic setting that make it un-put-down-able.
